Expertise

Majesty of Time offers to collectors or watch owners the possibility to act as intermediary in the request of the Extracts from the Archive or Registry to the respective manufactures that offer this service.
Where this isn’t possible, or because there is desire to have a document that evaluates the object in your possession, it’s possible to draw up an Expertise document that certifies its authenticity and value.

Expertise is a document written by Majesty of Time which state the value, authenticity, characteristics, age and origin of your watch (or clock). This document can be split into two types: a historical-descriptive (more suitable for antique clocks and certain pocket watches) and a technical sheet that summarizes, documents and identifies the watch (ideal for pocket and wrist watches).
The Expertise is useful for those who want to have a physical certificate of their watch, cataloging their collection or for insurance and inheritance purposes.
For those who need, the document can be written in Italian or in English.

Over 100,000 EUR the cost is on request.

IS THE EXTRACT RECOMMENDED?

For collection or sales purposes, certain Extracts from the Archive can positively increase the value of a watch, even if you still have the original warranty.
An important note of some Extracts is the possibility of verifying the matching of the serial numbers on the movement and the case (as it done, for example, by Patek Philippe), research that an Expertise document cannot provide since it can check only the adequacy of the caliber with the model, as well as the period of manufacture.
